Turn on effect on only in a certain scene

Post by 82DMC12 » Sat Jan 14, 2012 9:33 pm

Hey all,

Let's say I have a drum beat on the same track in two different scenes. On the second scene, I want beat repeat on, but I DON'T want it on in the first scene. I'm using session view and triggering scenes with the mouse and I don't want to manually turn beat repeat on and off each time I choose scene 2... I'm sure there's a way... just can't figure it out!

Well I figured out I can modify the envelope for Chance on Beat Repeat to zero on the clip I don't want beat repeat... and back up on the clip I do want it on. I'm guessing that's the best way. Any other tips?

when i need to do that kind of things i usually map the on/off to a macro in a rack and use enveloppes(or wet/dry if available)
