Quick question about session view problem

Post by 82DMC12 » Wed Jan 11, 2012 5:43 am

Hi everyone,

I recorded a few clips into the first scene of my session view. I wanted to share what it sounds like with a friend so I recorded a few bars of it into arrangement view, added a fade-out, then exported it as a wav.

Now, when I go to session view and start the scene (so all tracks start) it keeps playing it just like I recorded it, with the fade out. I want it to just keep looping so I can mess around with it it without constantly restarting the scene (since it keeps going quiet as the clock ticks past the 'end' in the arrangement view). I'm not clicking the start button on the main transport... I'm clicking the start arrow at the far right side of the row that says "Master".

I don't remember having this problem before. How do I detach session view from the recorded arrangement so I can experiment again? Even if I stop all clips and start a single clip, after a few bars it fades out and I have a restart it again.

Thanks,
Andy

temporarily delete that fade envelope

or got to 1.1.1 in session and insert 300 bars of silence, you can always take em out

usually, this early in a track i just delete a ruff bounce, its gonna change 50 times anyway
