and am i the only one that thought every computer would be multi touch by now?
i also thought live would have surround support, something easier to use than follow actions, tempo map extraction, a new but still flat gui, a modular gui, and would be multi touch.
its 2012. how can anyone not be underwhelmed at the recent announcements.

i read today that at the drive in are getting back together for some reunion shows at coachella (or whatever the hell its called) and i thought, 11 YEARS A LITTLE FUCKING LATE ARENT THEY?
do people not have a concept of time and urgency, to people not understand products (bands) are only relevant for so long until people forget...

whats live?
see i already forgot.
who is ableton..
doesnt ring a bell.

So nathannn was on his way to work the other day, he stopped because he saw a a sheep caught up in some bobbed wire, I was fucking it from behind

nathannn pulled over and said, "Hey MAN, can I get some of that!" and he proceeded to tangle himself up in the bobbed wire.

I don't think so. Here's a look at Bitwigs Window Set up:

Android:

Seriously you cannot tell me that Android is not a clone but Bitwig is??? Even on a surface level the similarities are there.
And the differences. Notice Bitwig has a knife and eraser tool, plus what suspiciously looks like multiple choices for a metronome, one of the most absolutely retarded parts of Live, and I'm not being mean by saying that, a metronome that has no control over the accent is next to useless.

I see no Drum Machine at same place and same uniform in the Android devices.

That's OK you also didn't notice the message icon looking almost the same, even the same dammed color, with a word balloon as an icon even, or that the camera icon is also a lens but with a shutter closing on it, or that the mail icon is a white letter.... the list goes on, including the layout of the icons. You basically ignored every freaking similarity between the Android OS and iOS because it doesn't fit tidily into your argument. If you think the Android OS isn't a clone, then you would have to also think that Bitwig isn't, and in many ways considering Bitwig people developed Live, it's less of a clone than Android is, because what Google did was straight copy iOS period, not hire their developers.

You really need to learn how to pick your battles. If you had stuck to saying Android was a clone and not a natural development on Apples ideas, then you would have a valid arguing point, but you went ahead and tried to defend the Android Apple "clones". So you betray yourself as having brand loyalty devoid of logic. Again, I'm fine with Bitwig being ex-developers of Live bringing their own take on a performance DAW, just like I'm fine with Google copying iOS.

Android is developed from far before its released. You lost your agarument again. They are competing from the begining. Are BW and Ableton?

You overstate and generalize things here again.
Only three from them? We don't say 'these persons' developed Live
Bernd Roggendorf, Gerhard Behles, Robert Henke, Awi, Reiner Rudolph, Stefan Haller,
Stefan Franke, Frank Hoffmann, Andreas Zapf, Ralf Suckow, Gregor Klinke, Matthias Mayrock, Friedemann Schautz,
Ingo Koehne, Jakob Rang, Pablo Sara, Nicholas Allen, Henrik Lafrenz, Jan Buchholz, Kevin Haywood, Dominik
Wilms, Christian Kleine, Amaury Groc, Daniel B¸ttner, Alex Koch, Henrik Hahn, Simon Frontzek, Torsten Wendland,
Torsten Slama, Eduard M¸ller, Jeremy Bernstein, Bernard Chavonnet, Carl Seleborg, Claes Johanson, Bernhard
Bockelbrink, Nico Starke, Jˆrg Klu?mann, Stefan Brunner, Tobias Hahn, Stefan von der Mark, Carsten Hen?inger,
Stephan Diehl, David Talbot, Robert Feldbinder, Diez Roggisch, Justine Lera, Dennis DeSantis, Ian Gallagher,
Philipp Gries, Marie Hoffmann, Marian Kalus, Stephan Krohn, Michael D¸hr, Dennis Fischer
You really need to learn how to pick your battles.
I think your phrases will be rather for you.

You are just trying to deffend your "they are not clone because all people copy someone's work" logic.

That's why I said you are loosing definition of the word plagiarism, and loosing the point of the arguments. Copying doesn't necessarily means plagiarism.

It's not even worth debating with you because you cannot keep a coherent argument going.
Not trying to be rude, just observing.

What exactly is your point?

You say Bitwig is a clone but Android is not. That, my friend makes not a bit of sense.
There is no escape from that lack of logic.
