some help with vocals please!

was trying to record vocals earlier, but my mic is mono(of course) and the channel it comes through is in stereo, so it only comes out of the left speaker. i just want it to come through in mono and dead center instead of one side, any advice?

Most likely you have your input channel @ a stereo 1/2 or 3/4 input and you need to select a mono 1, 2, 3 or 4 input.

You can use the Utility Tool (from the Live Devices) on the Audio Track and in your case set the Channel-Mode to Left - it's the box (with Left, Stereo, Right and Swap as options) between the Gain-Knob and the Panorama.

If all else fails, you can export the stereo clip in mono and drag it back in
