controling plug-in parameters; routing in rack instruments

Post by so_watt » Wed Jan 18, 2012 11:48 am

(1) Regarding the two plug-in parameters which can be controled directly in Live (assignable x/y-controls):
Is it possible to assign MIDI-controler numbers instead of specific parameter names?

(2) Is it possible to route the device chains of a rack instrument through the global send effects individually, instead of just routing them through these send effect, which are defined within the rack itself?
I'd like to have one reverb for all instruments and all drum sound in a drum rack and I want to adjust the send parameters for all of them individually. The only possibility I have figured out so far to realize that, is to define a global reverb as a send effect and then define the identical reverb as an send effect within my drum rack.

Thanks!
Roman

I'm pretty sure that with the IO view activated you can set the rack return's output to your "global" send track. That will basically pass thru to the project returns.
