Issue with Live when mapping to Lemur App

Post by keelious » Thu Jan 19, 2012 8:08 am

the problem i have so far is with the multiball controller, one ball keeps jumping rapidly to the left on its own when this module is mapped to any plugin in ableton live. i can move it around within the module, but the second i touch another colored ball the first one darts immediately to the left really really fast all the time, with or without physics being on. how would i get this to stop? this has to be a problem between Live and the lemur together because this does not happen to the app or to the lemur editor when they are disconnected, nor is this an issue when Live is connected to my remoteSL controller with automap.

i just recently purchased this app a month ago but have only had time to start learning it this last week, so i am not sure if this happens with another module.

any one have an idea? there is a link below to screen shots i took of how it is set up in the lemur editor and ableton live.

thanks

Maybe you can make another page of faders with the same cc#s solely for the purpose of mapping.

i figured out the problem, i accidentally overlapped CC's for some of the balls. also, this will sound stupid but i forgot to assign CC's for the Z axis. new type of thinking for me!
