Hi!
I will soon play in a club using Live, as my back is broken and I can't
carry loads of vinyls. I want to use Ableton as I know an like the program.
Do you have any tips concerning getting the best sound out of it?
My tracks are recorded in 16/44 and warped for beat matching. I use a Focusrite
Sapphire sound card.
I will play back to back with other people mixing vinyls and I do not want to sound
crap in comparison...

Best of luck with your back! That sucks.
Make sure you leave yourself plenty of headroom so you don't even run into digital clipping. Choose your warp modes to match your source material (I like complex pro for full songs myself, but if you have more focused clips you might have more luck with the other modes). Make sure to sound check with those people so you have an idea what you'll sound like in comparison, and can EQ accordingly (I presume you have a mixing board to go through).
Turn off system alert sounds
These are just things I've picked up reading about playing out, I've personally never played in a proper club so I'm just repeating what I've heard. I'm no expert.

I would imagine sorting a few little bits on your master channel, such as compressor and limiter will help. If you do sound check before then you can tweak your compressor to get similar loudness to the other guys. Good luck!
