I am trying to clean up some space on my hard drive. Was cleaning a bunch of pictures off of it and noticed there are a lot of pics of various M4L set ups, random Ableton screen shots, pics of faders, sliders, buttons on some of the synths I use. I was looking at them in my "All Images" folder, so I didn't check their exact location, and I never actually took any of these pictures. So, I am wondering: do Ableton, plug-ins need them for something or are they safe to delete?
Apologies for the lame question. Thanks a ton in advance for any/all replies.

Re: Deleting Ableton/plug-in pictures
Images are probably the smallest individual items you have on your hard drive. I'd be more inclined to remove larger files such as mp3, wav and video files for a more marked result.
Are you able to plug in an external USB drive or similar? Given the relatively cheap price of storage devices these days...
Such items could be moved to that for safekeeping. I suspect Ableton images are used within the help pages and others could be used in skins for synths and the like - though not so much Live's own synths. Still, I'd be reluctant to remove anything you're not 100% sure isn't used somewhere.
