No VSTi's working properly anymore

Today all of a sudden my synths like Razor, Sylenth and Prism will refuse to play any preset except the first one in it's default list.

I can switch it while the track is playing but as soon as i stop the arrangement and hit play again, it reverts back to preset 1 in the list.

Why is this? I've been using Ableton for a month and now today suddenly all of my synths do this.

Do they do this on a blank/new project or only something you've previously worked on?

I'm going to guess your midi clips for the VSTs might contain bank information.
