In this video at about 7:41 you can see Launchapd user 2 mode used to control device knobs. The video makes it look like it's a default mapping, but it doesn't work for me....I still have to map each knob to a pad. I see there is a "blue hand" on the effect rack indicating it's been locked. Am I missing something here?

Q about Launchpad User 2
Re: Q about Launchpad User 2
For some reason I can't find the vid on the page (using phone). Is it a page that is illuminated in only reds? If so, he is using Automap and a control surface script. LP users can download a basic version of Automap from the Novation site.

Re: Q about Launchpad User 2
You can achieve this by going into MIDI map mode. Selecting the knob you want. Then press a button in the left column of User Mode 2. Keep it pressed while selecting another button to the right. This way those two buttons and the ones in between are now controlling the mapped parameter.
Re: Q about Launchpad User 2
That's what I figured. He neglected to mention any mappings in the video, he made it seem like it was just default behavior in user 2. Thx for the replies so I know I haven't lost my mind
