how do i get my apc to follow my launchpad?

I am trying to have my launchpad be the master and the apc 40 to be the slave. Or vice versa if necessary. This way whenever I move my launchpad around the screen the apc follows it.
I have my apc 40 in the control surface under the miki sync in preferences, but its not showing op in the input and output tabs. How do i get it to show up there. I have all the drivers for the apc 40 and its all connected. Any ideas?

Can only be done with writing a control surface script or max for live....
