The Abes should give a more clear information like years before. I'm a user since Live 6, the Ableton guys hiding all information about the future plans. Thats not good i think, when i read all the discussions about Bitwig, some peeps tend to switch to when it comes to the market.

I ask a serious question at facebook about the most wanted feature - 64bit, so i like to use bigger sampler kits (Konatkt and so on), the abes just ignoring my question. "We cannot give any info about future plans, bla bla." I'm not happy about this behaviour.

Still waiting for some nice Live features, i dont like to use a 3rd DAW like Bitwig (i also own Reaper).

has it occurred to you that perhaps they aren't ready to share information?

they're a software company, so a new rev is pretty much a given.

outside of that, any promises they make or hopes they share are subject to such speculation, nit picking and scrutiny that i'm sure at this point they've learned to keep their mouths shut for fear that anything they say that isn't "just so" will only be held against them later.

it's better to have the sewing circle talking out of their ass then it is to give them any real meat to chew up.

it's funny how so many people are refusing to give Ableton any credit but they will give them their money.

Just my point. I dont complaint with Live as product, i really like to hear some good news. Since all NI plugs are 64bit i really like to have 64bit in Live. So i have 8byte of memory avail in my system, i like to use it.

Years ago Ableton has shared more information with his customers, offering a open communication. Now communication has stopped, mostly. Thats what i mean.
