Newer synthedit plugins not working in 8.2.7?

Ive been trying to use the novaflash plugins, http://www.numerisson.com/novaflash/uk.html , based on synthedit in ableton. I believe they all used to work at one point but it seems like some of them wont work in ableton anymore and wont show up the in vst list. Particularly the micromega, which I believe used to work, and the new Quack, which just got released. Quack initially shows up in the list on a scan, but it wont open and I just get a dialog box of 'this vst is incompatible with live'. However all of these vst's work fine in other hosts, e.g. fl, energyxt, reaper. Its only live that these dont work in

Just wondering if anyone else has had issues like these with synthedit based plugins and figure out a way to get them working. Ive tried running as admin and doing multiple rescans to no avail

It happens the same to me with unknown64, and several Novuzeit/Jack Dark plugins. A real pity. It did not happen with the previous version.

Didnt work for the novaflash ones, still get the same unsupported errors

I downloaded micromega. It doesn't work with Live but also FL Studio or even with Chainer. It's a problem with the plug-in, not with Live.

Have you tried the quack beta? I had mostly been testing with energyxt and they loaded fine in there. Just tried micromega in FL10 again and it loaded fine for me

So I had emailed ableton support about it. They said its because I had subfolders in my vst dir. When I moved the ones that wouldnt work to my root vst dir then they work. Seems very odd though since every other since I have is in some sort of sub directory, not sure why these are the only ones with issues
