I am trying to backup my songs in case of a hard drive failure.
I have read that the way to do that is to use the 'Collect all and save' under the 'File' drop-down menu. Apparently I need to do this for every song.
Where is Ableton saving this stuff so I can copy it to a flash drive?
I am using a PC.
Thanks!
Chris
Where does 'collect all and save' actually save to?

the "Collect All & Save" option is basically an action that collects any referenced material (samples mainly) and places it all within the folder your project is in. Normally this is done if you need to move a track from one machine to another or if you want to make a backup.
What it won't do is make backups of VST or external instruments (obviously). It is a good thing to do if you like to re-organise your samples often as this can break paths that projects use.
