How can I record 7 audio tracks simultaneously?

I'm using Ableton 7 and a MAudio fast track pro. I can only record enable 1 track at a time though. Can you record more tracks at once in Live 8? I'm looking at getting a MAudio fast track ultra 8r because it can do 8 tracks simultaneously. However unless I can record enable each track of the 7 audio tracks I need to do what good would the interface do me. I'm looking to record drums. Is there something I'm missing in live 7? Can live 8 do this?

arm multiple tracks for record with shift-click, or in prefs un-check the exclusive "arm" button.

Thanks. Unchecking the "arm" & "solo" buttons for "exclusive arm" worked. Holding down shift while clicking the record enable didn't work. Thanks I've needed to know how to do this for years now. Much appreciated. What is the "solo" button? Last thing I'm wondering now is(might be dumb question),when I'm using the MAudio fast track pro(2 inputs) under the "external in" setting in live there is only the option to select chan1 or chan2. I'm guessing because the fast track pro only has 2 inputs. If I get the MAudio fast track ultra 8r(8 inputs) will the drivers from it give me the option to select chan1-8 under "external in"?

Yes, absolutely!
Another bit of info, for example, .. If you have multiple midi keyboards all on different midi channels, you can record them simultaneously (Midi) using audio 1/2 as an aux.
Midi and audio offer very different scenarios..
