Untrue. The Trigger Finger has 4 faders, and 16 presets, so you can actually use those 4 sliders to control 4 X 16 parameters. It's kind of nuts actually.Ryanmf wrote:Although I hate M-Audio, the Trigger Finger might still be the best product in this range. Unfortunately there are no faders (unlike the MPD32), otherwise it's fairly comparable and should be cheaper. I've never used a Korg Padkontrol but it seems to be fairly well-liked as also.grunzlaut wrote:do not buy a mpd 18 or a mpk keyboard if you want drumpads. the pads on these controllers are total crap. i guess the mpd 32 should be way better.
Add 8 knobs to that, and it's really powerful. I like it WAY more than my MPD24.
Let me put it this way - I sold my MPD24, but you'd have to pry my Trigger Finger out of my cold dead fingers. It's low profile, light, small enough for a standard backpack, and decently durable (I haven't been able to kill it in nearly five years)
