seriously beats i dug around that tiny little article and some of the links from it and i can't find any complaints about my phone... and i don't have any myself really.
battery life sucks but are you getting more than a day out of an iPhone? if you arebut i'm sure the battery is hardly better or hardly worse. my blackberry could roll for 2 days, 3 if i didn't spend too much time on the [traditional] phone. so it's a hit in the negative column, but that's regardless (iPhone would be too), and shit... the BB experience was nowhere near as rich - except Exchange email which is still superior IMO, but that's a work issue and why i don't have to pay a penny for my unlimited data plan.
back on the flip side, i can buy a bigger battery. can you?![]()
mere millimeters (the answer to your retort).
I’m not exactly a phone power user, especially since the iPad came out. And by the time it might be nice to be able to replace the dying battery I’m already on to the newest generation of iPhone.
In other battery news:
I have a Harmony One remote that is the best thing ever and I use the fuck out of it. My battery started having an extremely short life between charges so I bought a replacement battery, but the battery in the controller was so swelled up that I couldn’t get it out of the remote.
MORE BULLSHIT BATTERY NEWS:
There was a bunch of reports awhile back saying you actually reduce your battery life when you leave your portable device plugged in when it’s fully charged. WTF? This was shortly followed by a handful of companies releasing charging adapters that know when your device is fully charged and then kill the current to the device. Conspiracy? WTF?

This is the problem with 99% of Apple accessory makers. They think because Apple charges us a premium that we'll somehow give them defacto passes to also charge us a premium.

No. This is the problem with the media preoccupied with demonizing Apple right now for labor practices in China.
Apple people will pay a premium for Apple accessories. Yay for that company and the economy!
It’s been reported that the app related economy has created over 400,000 new jobs since apps were invented. Yay for that and the economy! Name another industry/company that can claim the same.

BTW. This is still a positive employment gain even when you subtract the number of employees manufacturing Apple products in China.
And given the amount of unsuccessful apps it’s a safe bet that most people whose income is app based are making even less money than the average Chinese manufacturing plant worker.
Re: iPad
you do realize that "app" is short for application and that all computers and OS's that are considered any kind of mainstream run applications. brickbreaker on your old Nokia with the turd green and black display... that was an app.beats me wrote:It’s been reported that the app related economy has created over 400,000 new jobs since apps were invented. so as much as you want to give Apple credit here, they didn't invent the "app". sorry
on the other hand... they did invent the "app store" where 100,000 of those new jobs go to placing good apps and the other 300,000 are developing the same shit or just plain shit.
/reality check
carry on...

Re: iPad
how about slavery........it must have created at least as many jobs... I think 'created x amount of jobs' is the catch phrase of the 21 century, politically correct and agenda were the catch phrases of the last century but now we've moved on. everything that creates jobs is not good, how about murder we never give murder enough credit for how many jobs it creates, especially in detroit....beats me wrote:LoopStationZebra wrote:This is the problem with 99% of Apple accessory makers.
