newb question

Post by carllackey » Wed Feb 08, 2012 5:58 pm

hello i'm new to live 8 and noticed that most of my loops become tempo and beat matched when i drag them in. but some don't,they remain the same bpm as they were created. what am i doing wrong?

the Q is a little vague...what are you wanting it to do?

you can turn the warp off/on a given clip

you can go into prefs and set it to not auto-warp short clips

if warp was on and it did not change the clip then its original bpm was that same or very close to the global bpm

the loop is 170 bpm and the beat of my project is 125. almost all of my loops will be perfectly beat matched in my project, save for a few loops in my loop folder,as is the case for one particular set of loops from loopmasters called bop minimal. has this helped?

you must not have the warp button on?

or its not reading them properly...if they are complex patterns or something nonrhythmic Live can have some trouble....
