Hi All,
I've been using a drum rack - 'Cold Tight Room Stick' in 'Session Drums' to be exact, and one of the macro knobs is labelled as 'Hi hat Pedal'. I've tweaked it and tweaked but cannot hear any difference. Has anyone any ideas as to why, or what/which sounds it should be affecting? The other macros are all self explanatory and seem to do what they say, but the hat pedal.......
Any info or guidance would be greatly appreciated as the 'Session Drums' are stunning.
Regards,

Hi hat pedal macro knob
Re: Hi hat pedal macro knob
put a row of 8th notes on the drum hit "hi Hat open" , now turn that macro dial .
it controls the pedal position of the hihat strike. Open / closed/ a few positions in between.
in fact being called "hi hat Open" seems wrong when you think about it a little. But anyway - that dial is the key to getting a more natural hi-hat pattern.
