I started with Ableton Live Suite 8.1.1, and it started off working fine. Then after a few days, it became very sluggish and wouldn't recognize my Axiom 49 MIDI controller. Recently I updated to 8.2.8 and it worked like a charm, but again after a few tries it became sluggish and wouldn't recognize the controller, and the audio would crackle. Also it caused my PC to go to the Blue Screen of Death. No apparent damage to my PC but very frustrating. Could it be the settings aren't dialed in correctly or are there issues with the program itself? Or is it my PC?
Also, let me know if I need to be more specific in order to get to the bottom of this..
I'm running the following:
Intel i5-2400 Quad Core Sandy Bridge CPU at 3.10GHz
Asus P8 H67-M EVO Motherboard (Is the built-in audio card possibly an issue?)
16GB RAM
+1TB HDD
Win 7 Professional 64-bit
