Audio Production / Mastering / Whatever articles and ebooks

Gooday,

I'm taking a week away from reality, which will involve lots of sitting around on beaches reading.

I'd like to use this time to read as much as I can about anything audio / music related, and I'm on the hunt for ebooks, magazines, articles I can PDF to pop on my slypad.

Does anyone have anything they can recommend? I open to almost anything

Entertained me for past week, went for audiobook which recently became my fav for driving, shopping, going for walk, damn no beach weather in Europe at the moment. Wasn't aware of 80% of the facts reported in this book.

You don't only get an introduction about what compressors, EQs ect. do, but also a nice bunch of background starting from where to place your monitors until why you shoudn't have a hut on while mastering xD
