Ableton & AudioFinder- Anyone uses it?
hey. does anyone use the 2 together. i'm thinking about getting it b/c i realize that with all the sounds & plugins that one might accumulate, it hard to scroll through each one to find that right instrument. any input on how this program helps?

I've got Audio Finder. Good tool for your sample library, for auditioning sounds and as a quick audio editor.
I don't know of any purpose for your instrument plug-ins though. It can load effect plug-ins to process the sound but doesn't manage plug-ins or anything.

i use it, I've only had it a few weeks but its great, i use it mostly for quick access to sound files from my old tunes. also used it to rid my self of the many duplicates of sounds I've accumulated when a project rolls into another and gets a new name.

I don't know about you, but i just don't trust the duplicates function at all... Scanned my drum sample library and came up with lots of false positives without giving a sorting option to allow you to see which files were duplicate to eachother.Slightlydelic wrote:i use it, I've only had it a few weeks but its great, i use it mostly for quick access to sound files from my old tunes. also used it to rid my self of the many duplicates of sounds I've accumulated when a project rolls into another and gets a new name.
