live.object Modes ?

i would like to know what Modes are within the live.object ?
what are these modes that set_mode function calls to , how much Modes does exist 1/2/../?

I've never heard of such "modes". Where did you find that example?

It's part of the M4L.api.ConfigureControlSurface helper mode, and of limited use [it only supports the APC or the launchpad] in terms of general control surface support. Perhaps a closer look at the patch and the dumpout outlet might tell you something....

the last page of this thread discusses "modes" with the APC40. Echoing Gregory Taylor's post I assume that is what they are referring too.
