solo/pf listen option

excuse the horrible newbie question, but i've just installed Live 2 and i don't seem to be able to change the solo button to pre-fader listen.
the selection is grayed out in the options menu.
any help would be appreciated

Hi 1249,

it is only possible to use the PFL mode if your audio interface provides at least 2 physical stereo outputs. Further on it's necessary to route 'Pre-Listen' to another stereo output as 'Master'.
Under these conditions it's possible to switch between 'Solo' and 'PFL'.
