You know how many yards I had to rake to come up with that?
seriously lmfao!!
It's the MS employees that I can't understand why they're supposedly so enthusiastic about being a part of...but whenever I see them in person it's usually a couple that's just happy to have temporary security and be part of a large group that feels awesomely mediocre (woohoo!). It's like I see self-forced smiles and enthusiasm like they're trying to convince themselves that the company picnic with a volleyball net is going the be the mindblowing shit of the year! Yeah!

my brother works for MS, all I have to do is put my iPhone on the table and the mood changes.

Having met hundreds of MS employees and dozens of Apple ones I can truthfully say that while neither place is filled completely with tyrants that make your career there draining, both companies have rabid zealots and a typical 50 hour work week that you feel obligated to do 50 weeks a year. Having said this, my best friend at Apple (recently retired) just had his stock options hit the million mark, and about six people I know from MS have that or better in assets, so it does pay off. He did suffer what seems like office work related arthritis at one point to get there though. He's just now using Windows for the first time and enjoying it, noticing the weaknesses and strengths etc.

As you would expect the people that are the most rabid are new hires, who finally got a good paying job, and still feel all warm inside about MS/Apple. Wears off over time though.

That's a relatively chill situation though, BG is doing the charity work thing, not competing in a brutally competitive business.
Having seen/worked on the offices of both the Foundation and Apple / Microsoft, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation environment is very mellow compared.

I would imagine. Hell it could be more like "Hey, JuanSolo's cousin, can you do so and so while you're out doing whatever?"
And she's just out shopping for boots before she goes home and changes to go play some badminton.
Nice.
