... or you simply use the highly underestimated built-in VA-synth of Live called Analog  . It has a really sweet formant filter. I think it`s called "f6" in the filter`s drop down menu.

Btw. I find it way more interesting how Madeon edits his songs... I really dig that complex electro sound but I have no clue how these guys create it...

Built in to Suite of course, not Live.

Or pay €99 for this instrument alone... although it is quite a good synth, this is silly money. Like most Ableton stuff these days, where a full Logic (and content) install for Mac is now £139 in the UK...

Granted though, I forgot about that filter. Just had a play, and compared it to Thor on Reason. The Analog one is very basic by comparison. Can't get an 'eee' sound out of it for instance.

But better than nothing.

yes, of cours it`s built in in suite... I just assumed that Mr. Doppler has suite. I might be wrong, of course.
And sure buying it only for that particular purpose for 99€ isn`t worth it.
but sure you`ll get out any kind of vovel of it. did you change the resonance settings?
Can`t compare it to Thor, but it`s even more likely that the T.O. doesn`t own reason than that he doesn`t own Suite...

Madeon uses FL Studio, he used to post on the forums, i used to go on there when i started on FL. For his sound, he states that he manually chops "by hand" all those samples. God only knows what his projects end up looking like - but hey, 64 bit benefits probably help

I think i remember him saying on their forums that he mainly uses FL's own plugs, with the odd third party soft synth, and coming from FL, i'd say its probably the VocodeX plug in - http://www.image-line.com/documents/new ... 1269386484

I was so close to choosing FL over ableton when battling over the two, I think image line know's how to make a better plug-in IMHO, Look at Harmless/Sytrus/Harmor/Sawer. and that's just Synths.
