Audio Effects Rack Issue - Live 8 Akai Professional APC Ed.

Hi.

Completely new to ableton and apc series.
Bought the APC 40 and the ableton edition that comes with it.

The issue being when i Select Audio Effects- audio effects rack
audio effects rack appears to have a folder beside it rather then being capable of dragging and
dropping in audio clip.

No other audio effects have this issue but audio effect rack shown only as a folder.

Any help/suggestions?

Individual effects (and Instruments) have a default setup so you can drag them in without choosing a preset, Audio Effects Racks (or Instruments) are really varied, you have to pick a specific one from the subfolders to drag that in.

I watched my friend install live 8.2 a higher version from the one given to me with the apc 40 and he had it. Must be the edition =(.
