whats the difference between the two effects wise? both genres go nuts on the synth's except korean is more upbeat.vs japanese which is more of a higher tempo?
japanese synths are more "twinkle-y" vs korean songs where the notes are sustained longer.
my goal for this thread is to figure out and disect how these songs are made (basically try and find a "recipe" for theese kind of genres) than figure out how to hybrid this with american culture
japanese and korean pop
Re: japanese and korean pop
I have no idea about such stuff but I would be very interested if you gave some examples. my experience of Japanese stuff is more towards the experimental and noise areas. merzbow, aki onda and the 'scattergun pop' of melt banana
