Hello
i try to manipulate an "Impulse" drums sequence i worked on a whole day but "impulse" does not support separate channels like drum racks do
i can only tweak the volumes or filter on the snare or HHT. for example but can't put Eq,Reverb,Delay etc on a snare separately & then on a hht. the mix sounds pretty bad in that way.
how do i get to manipulate an "Impulse" Kit.
any thought?
much thanks!
Gersh

You would have to create new audio channels that each receive their audio from each sound. But then if you want to put them back together you have to group the channels.

Create new Audio Track. Set Input from the channel that contains Impulse. Next dropdown box, select the appropriate sample. Make sure the audio track is set to "In"

some other options:
copy your recorded midi to a drum rack, put the samples (or multiple impulses) into c3 - c4 in the drum rack to match impulse notes, (might not be an option if you have a lot of impulse automation recorded). basically replace the impulse with a drum rack.
make a group with 8 copies of the same impulse, mute or delete unused samples in each chain, put effects on each chain

what do you mean by "make a group with 8 copies of the same impulse", what chain has to do with it? i thought i treat each sample track.
