Need help.

Hi guys,this is weird,but when i use my mpk 25 with Ableton Live 8 Suite it crashes everytime i press a key.When you press the keys it makes sounds,but in a sec or two later the software freezes for a few secs.This happens like every 5 secs when you press the keys.I have been on the fourms,and i have not found anything helpful.My Axiom Pro 49 works fine,but the mpk 25 keeps freezeing up Live.

I'm wondering if there is a conflict between the Axiom and Mpk? What if you got rid of any axiom related connections in your midi preferences just to check?

Are you triggering a 3rd party plug in?

make sure your drivers are all up to date.

check for midi feedback. if you launch Live with the shift button held down you'll get a default set.

Yea i got rid of the axiom connections,and it still does the same thing.I contacted Akai,but no answer lol.I'm now finding out it's doing the same thing on Kontakt by native instruments.I'm starting to think now the hardware is faulty or it's a driver issue.

It's been solved I fixed the problem.It was a problem between usb 1 & usb 2 ports & the driver.I didn't know my intel PC mobo had usb 1 & usb 2 connections.I simply un pluged my connection,and i deleted the Akai mpk driver out of win 7 sound & controllers,and then i plugged my cable into a usb 2 port & it fixed the problem, once the new Akai mpk driver was installed.Thank you all for the help though.
