want to shorten a clip in sampler by smaller increment

Post by stza maa » Thu Apr 05, 2012 6:04 am

I'm just trying sampler for the first time tonight and I've found a clip that i really like. I've put it in a reverse/forward pattern that has created a loop. ime now trying to set my beat to it but i find at most of the metronome times i set, it only stays in rhythm for a little bit and then it shifts off beat.

i was thinking that i prolly need to adjust the length a bit but when i try to move the arrow at the top of the sample it moves in far larger of an increment then what i would like. i put a pic up to kinda show what I'm talking about. id like the sampe start to not be 1218, but something in between that and zero.

and same would go for the other end.

i hope this is as easy as i feel it is. i might just be too stoned

cheers

also, the loop start and loop end numbers will only move 1000 + numbers at a time
