Live Launchpad Control via Pro Tools Rewire?

Any way to use launchpad controller in Live 7 when its rewired to Pro Tools 8? Seems live all control is disabled in rewire mode. Cant find anything otherwise. I dont want to use automap to control pro tools. I want to have Pro Tools playing a track, with rewire as an instrument, to add some perc and stuff in Live using Launchpad and a midi kybd.

Im new to live-lots to learn,

Hi,

Unfortunately Live's control surfaces and MIDI output ports are disabled when running as a Rewire slave. As Pro Tools can only run as a Rewire master, I'm afraid that it will not be possible to use all of the Launchpads features with Live in this scenario.

The only option is to use the Launchpad as a standard MIDI device with Pro Tools and then route the MIDI data via Rewire to Live.
