It occurred to me I shoul clarify. Say you are making a house tune and you want to play some keys over it. Can you play it at a lower bpm and then turn it back to original?

In Live, MIDI clips and warped audio clips are 'locked' to the global tempo of the set. So if you slow the set down, play your keys at the lower speed, and then speed everything back up, everything will stay in sync.gsvertigo wrote:It occurred to me I shoul clarify. I used to do this for guitar parts (I am a terrible guitarist).

you can do it the other way round as well. If you have a terribly boring slow ballade, just speed up live and have some fun while recording your piano part.
