This should probably be posted in that other forum, but fuck those guys.
Anyhow, groove3 has Maschine tutorials and from what I know it's the only company that does.
Not providing link from my work computer, sorry.

Are these good? I just started learning with macprovideo.com, from Olav B.. Awesome stuff. I have the pass so I started to check out the 3 maschine tutorials they have by Matt Cellitti. He does clinics for NI, so I figured they would be good. I haven't bought the hardware yet, just want to see what it can do. I have a little Akai mpk mini as a controller, and was thinking about getting a bit more serious. Not sure if this is the right way to go, but there is a lot of buzz about it.

Sometimes I like to watch tutorials for stuff I don't even own, just to get a more in-depth look.
Plus, if you watch tutorials for something that you will get but just don't have yet, you'll already have a good learning curve down when you get it!
It's nice when you can jump straight in when something arrives instead of going "ok, wtf do I do first..."

agreed, I did the same before I got the key to demo cubase. Unfortunately the macprovideo guy was a heck of a lot smarter than me. I stopped using cubase after 3 days and went back to logic. Now I am getting a live jam space set up with a bunch of outboard synths. Ableton seems to be the best DAW for this type of setup. Not sure if it can replace logic yet, but for the live midi control.... it seems unbeatable.

I just got the groove 3 year pass. I will be back in a few days, or weeks to let you all know they rate against the macprovideo.com tutorials.

Well those are 2 different styles altogether.
I started the groove3 lessons first.
-I was disappointed by the lack of hardware shots or direct explanation of the hardware.
-there were some sloppy edits (not a big deal).
-the trainer seemed knowledgable
-lots of basic info on the software layout
The macprovideo ones had 3 different titles for this product. I started with the maschine quickstart. The other titles which I will check out in a couple of days are Maschine's Sampler Explored, and Maschine Masterclass. All three titles are by the same guy.
macprovideo's maschine quickstart.
-video seamlessly blended with screencapture.
-realtime songbuilding with the interface.
-native instruments product specialist (Matt Celitti) is the trainer.
-all basic software layout is covered, as is the hardware layout.
-watching both working together made the tutorial more complete.
I watched these tutorials to see whether I should buy the maschine package. It reminds me of the akai mpc2000. I am not yet convinced that I need it. I will have to watch the other two vids.
As far as the better tutorials, I would recommend the macprovideo ones, due to the simple fact that they go through both hardware and software aspects of maschine.
