Behringer XENYX X1832USB with ableton help.

I just bought a Behringer XENYX X1832USB mixer. Installed the audio installer thing that came with it. When in ableton I choose the asio in audio preferences, and see the behringer mixer audio. I choose that. Mixer is connected to my computer...but...no audio when I arm a track. And ableton lags a little. Whats going on, how do I fix this so I can record my mixer through ableton??? Ideas???
