Robert Henke Earthworks Sampling Mic?

Post by Grijak » Thu Apr 19, 2012 11:53 pm

On Robert's "Granulator" promo video, he is seen using an Earthworks mic to sample a gong and a water glass. Anybody happen to know what model of mic this is? http://www.monolake.de/files_video/Able ... ulator.mp4

Thanks if anybody finds out. I wish to see if these Earthworks are worth the money for dedicated sampling of various sources for sound manipulation in M4L

Earthworks are incredible mics. I got turned on to them years ago by a friend of mine Dave Willingham who runs the Echo Lab in Argyle TX. He used to swear by them saying they were the only 2 mics he ever needed. Back then I believe they were made to order.

That's what I would think it is, but there are 5 or 6 mics that look just like the M50 so I just wanted to be sure............

yeah, but pretty much all the rest are omni, and I doubt he'd be using an omni to record a glass...
