Re: audio interface which would be the best to get
I have an m-audio fast track pro, which I am able to cue with.
all depends on your budget, I found this video helpful for soundcard info.

I too have an M Audio Fast Track Pro. I got it a few years ago and haven't had any problems w/ it except that when I upgraded to Lion I had to turn off spdif in-puts for it to work which kinda sucked.
Maybe check out the Audio 2 DJ.

Re: audio interface which would be the best to get
I have the Fast Track Pro and I would not recommend getting it for DJing. I mean it is a great card for the price and has good features, but the big problem when specifically DJing is that the output volume is very low compared to other cards and CD players. Therefore, there is always a levels issue when mixing with others on the same mixer.
Yes, others can lower their levels, but even then I need to crank my channel gains to the max on mixers to barely reach unity gain on the channels I am on. That is far from ideal if you are after a good sound for you and for others playing.

I really like the Audio DJ 2 for stuff like this, and at just $100 its not going to break the bank.
Re: audio interface which would be the best to get
+1 for NI Audio DJ 2 - it might be cheap, but its actually a great little audio interface for DJing - headphone outs with level control on the interface and comes with cable adapters to connect to DJ gear RCA inputs.
Take mine everywhere as an ultra-portable to mix on with cans on the move, even though in studio I use an RME UFX for recording and mixing.
If that is too minimum, then maybe Audio DJ6 instead. Ive been using NI audio interfaces for DJing for years (Audio 8DJ scratch and now Auido 10DJ scratch system as well) - allways reliable.

Nothing to see here - move along!

I don't use Live for DJing but the Apogee Duet 2 is my audio interface aka the shit son!
