Hey All,
I just picked up an MPK61 and for the last year or so, i've been using the MPK25. I loaded up one of my songs in ableton but i wasn't able to trigger the sounds in my Drum Rack from the drum pads on the MPK61. I literally got to play with it about 30 minutes before my newborn started screaming his head off and i haven't messed with it since last night. Just wanted to know if anyone else has had any issues switching back and forth between hardware?

Id go to Lives preferences and make sure that your settings for MIDI in and out are set for both the 25 and the 61. It sounds like once you switched to the 25 then the preferences now only recognise that, but its an easy switch. Check that out.

Thanks for the info. I had my control surface set up as the mpk61 when it's usually the APC40 so i switched that back and all seems to be working well now. Thanks again!
