How can I assign continue from current location to a midi mapping? I can find Play but not start from current location, continue, play from, etc. etc. I know the keystroke is shift-space.
Thanks,

Re: Mapping play from
arrange view, drop in track markers then assign a midi controller to those.

Re: Mapping play from
There is not a simple or elegant option for this. tone's suggestion works and i thought of some other hacks.
max 4 live could possibly translate a midi message to a keystroke.
the free(?) program midistroke (or bomes on windows) can translate midi messages to a keystroke.

Thanks for the suggestions!
Ableton does some REALLY annoying things though! I am try to layer midi and the Follow Mode toggles off every time I stop. This is annoying as hell. Is there any way to toggle it on and have it STAY on?
Thanks,
joeb

It stays on unless you click somewhere with the mouse.

Jekblad,
Which I unfortunately have to do (click the mouse) to be able to step insert midi.......
BTW, thanks for the midi stroke suggestion. Works nicely. I appreciate your suggestions, nice to get an answer other than "read the manual"
