The one thing I'm certain of is that we are never going to find out who is really behind these atrocities or what the true 'purpose' is. I'm willing to bet a month's salary that this whole situation has far more to do with a power struggle over oil than than it has to do with religion or a quest for so-called freedom.

The 'friendship' between the US and the Saudi's has always troubled me, it should trouble everyone.

I hope all the members of this forum from London are OK

You are surely as stupid as Bush if you think militant Irish Republicans had anything to do with this. Do you know the first thing about the troubles?
Try to feel some compassion for the families of the forty or so murdered individuals who have lost a loved one, whose only offence was to be travelling on public transport in a relatively free and genuinely multicultural society.

Don't get me started on the Iraq war, however.

I wonder if anyone's made the date connection, 7 bombs on the 7th of the 7th. I always wondered about 9,11, what with the WTC actually forming an 11. Fanatics and numerology (not the app  ) they're all significant numbers if you're into that sort of thing, and they probably are.

From what I understand, 11 represents the "makers". Meaning start of the new.9-11 was the start of a new order (NWO) as far as disclosure to the public.
I wish i had saved an e mail sent to me from an acquaintance because it stated how certain corporations are involved with this terrorist order and one of them is Citibank. If you look at the logo of Citibank (I'm sure most of you are familiar with it) you can see something interesting:

Notice the two "i"s (11) in citi are connected by a red curved line?
777 is a numerological number representing the dimension beyond the apparent reality we live in (3D) which is represented by 666. I know this one cause i liked that Danzig song called 777 and wondered what it meant. I did some research and studying.
Interesting stuff.

People also interpret "messages" in the way that tea leaves fall in a cup and leave a pattern. But my guess is that these people have smoked the tea rather than drank it.

apparently there was meant to be a generation of articulate, energetic and honest young politicians that were going to devote their most passionate years to transforming the corrupt compromised power systems in their countries into more humane, just and progressive places to deliver a better society.

however, they all got addicted to wasting their intellect and energy on foolish dreams of electronica. wasting their wealth and braincells on the cynical software fodder for the masses. by the time they realised that they had wasted their youth on such castles made of sand, it was too late. the greediest and most ruthless of their peers had already installed themselves in the corridors of power while they were more worried about phat basslines and scratchy loops.

ultimately nothing ever changes. the rich get richer, the dreamers rot in their own selfindulgent fantasies of artistic ego recognition.

I'm glad I'm a Tory MP who uses Live. Best of both worlds.

joking about the tory bit ;)

But it is true, so many are copping out of reality by dreaming their lives away in midi land while the real world turns to shit.

Wallowing in music may be comforting escapism if you are confused about what your life is about, but sticking your head in the ground like an ostrich is the ultimate waste. You should donate your organs to people who want to do something with their lives rather than wear down your finger tips twiddling a filter and looping a sample.

There is a tiny minority who are determined to kill indescrimintately just in order to get attention in their sad little lives. This happens because the lazy majority let it happen.

Even after today's terrible events, most people in London will want to know WHO did it. Understanding the WHY is still too much of an uncomfortable question that demands too much complexity to answer.

This is just the early days of the disintegration of society. Get out there and intelligently help build a better one. Otherwise, as unbelieveable as today's events and those of madrid, bali and 911 were, the near future will become pregressively unsafe, unpredctable and disturbingly surreal. Only a small portion of society needs to choose violent insanity as a mission before we are all fucked.

Go join a political party not another VST forum.

Don't get me started on that multicultural tolerance shit. That's half the problem right there.

So it's okay to bash Bush but let Blair slide? They're both peas in the same pod. They're both leaders of governments that grow larger and larger by confiscating the wealth of its citizens while removing the last vestiges of freedom all in the name of fighting "terrorism."

Look, it's sad that 40 people died and scores were injured. You have to feel for them. That's human. But, life goes on. More importantly, your life goes on, as does my life and everyone else. So live it and appreciate it.

It is amazing to me that there are people out there that say (or imply) that the U.S.A., the U.K., or Bush and Blair are at fault for these attacks.

It is just crazy!

People lets put the conspiracy theories aside. There were a million or so written on 911 by all the Micheal Moores of this world. Lets deal with the facts as they come out. Whoever did this wanted to make a political statement by a act of terrorism. We need to find this unjustifiable reason for taking innocent life then act on it. ASAP. This was totally uncalled for with the G8 summit bringing our world leaders together to do something good for the people of Africa. Who knows how the G8 summit turnout with this horribly tragic event. Those who acted this way really have life-less souls an should be met with a eye for eye, tooth for a tooth before and after death.

Thats bulshit mate. The galaxy is a pretty big place... At least we don't bite each others heads off and dissolve them with acidic saliva.
