is it just me or shouldn't L5's freeze handle vsti's with multiple outs? (sonar 4 freeze actually rocks in this respect.) and why is it that L5 wastes precious cpu cycles animating frozen gui's if they happen to be onscreen?! why is it when i narrow a track, the first thing to become completely tiny and useless is the fader (and i'd love to see peak meters on those things, too).
in the future:
if i have overlapping clips in a single track in arrangement view, i'd love to be able to view them as individual 'lanes' within that track (see sonar 4) or some other way of not 'losing' an underlying clip. i'd also like to see 'lanes' for multiple envelopes or at least a good way of superimposing them (see logic pro). make all quantize parameters a midi clip property that can be set on multiple clips at a time if necessary (a la logic). and, sheesh, add groove quantize capability.
i'd love to be able to hide tracks and/or collect them into folders (a la sonar).
yeah, i know i'm describing a stodgy, old daw, still...
in any case, L5 really is great.
