Ableton Live 8 w/ Mac Mini.... Problems

Hi Guys,

Im currently running a Mac Mini OSX 10.6.3 with 4 gigs ram and a 320gb 5400rpm HD. Im currently running Ableton Live 8. When im in the arrangement view and I move my loop slider the beach ball Icon appears and the computer goes in to think mode. It goes back to normal in about 10 seconds of waiting and im able to resume working. The arrangement has about 8 tracks with multiple plugins like eq, compressors, fx etc on each track. My CPU usage is about 30%. I have multi support turned on. My questions are: 1) does anybody experience this? 2) What do you guys think it is? Could be I need more ram, maybe a 7200 rpm HD or a faster processor or all of the above. Any advice would be help full.
