Automatic succession of several Arpeggiators

Post by nimnimnim » Sun May 27, 2012 3:04 am

Since one can set an Arpeggiator to a certain Repeats value it appears odd to me that after that Repeats progression is at end, an other Arpeggiator placed right of it does not start off. Actually this is how I expected it to work when I came up with the idea and need for this stunt in a project... but alas it didn't work as intuitively expected.

It'd be great if you could put several arpeggiators in a row.
say, start with a chord trigger for a chord strum (1/8) with one Repeats and then an UpDown (1/16) for 4 Repeats and you would automatically get that "drang dra-gri-dra-gri drang dra-gri-dra-gri" campfire-hippie-guy-who-brought-a-guitar kind of strum ;)

And then ofcourse you could make pretty intricate classical progressions of arpeggiation with say ie. 4 successive Arpeggiators with different Styles (and perhaps even Rates) to automatically (but of course with full control and intentional) make working and perhaps even good enough drafts of proper arpeggio arrangements.

Of course then the request I've made for baking arpeggios would be great to take it to finalising the arrangement!
