Just read the Live Journal of a London gal:
For the bombings, she blames the vengeful Russian mob because Moscow didn't get the Olympics in 2012...

When I hear sick, paranoid, weak, confused, decadent stuff like that, I get tempted to believe those who predict that the Western civilisation will be wiped out of the planet soon. Time to go back to a primitive lifestyle: make babies, live in ignorance, stop caring about conspiracy theories... But hey, that would also be stupid paranoia!

Either that or forming a clan with other like minded individuals ... unfortunately like the crew of the spaceship at the end of hitchhikers guide to the galaxy (books), my clan would be made up of disenfranchised hairdressers, telephone sanitation engineers and DJs.

Zombies would bum rush the stage and tear down his HD screen and drag it away and turn it into the roof of a hut. His fancy video mixer would be used to grind corn.

That's why I am urging my girlfriend, who works as a media trend monitor (interesting job, she monitors biases of media sources and tracks them historically) to find a "hard trade" for when the bad news comes... Carpentry or something. You won't freeze or starve after it all falls apart if you can build something.

For me, I work in the information technology biz. BUT, at least I have a "blue collar" skill set to fall back on.
