I just bought an Edirol PCR-50 and it seems to be getting confused in Live 4.
When I try to assign something to knob 9, it will overwrite knob 8, however knob 8 will not overwrite knob 9. Not all of my sliders will assign and when I try to assign a button to the record button inside of Live it doesn't work...
Is this just from lack of support for Edirol controllers?
Oh, and the little green light does flash showing that Live is receiving MIDI data for the sliders and buttons... drivers are current...
Help? Thanks...

I have the PCR30, and I found the best way to use the sliders and knobs is to use the edit software to save the factory defult, and then just go through everything and assign a different CC message to each thing.
Then send it to the unit. I havn't figured out how to save the new config on the unit yet though, so I have to do that every time I want to use slider 2 and knobs 8 and 9.

anyway: to save the changes on your PCR: press the EDIT button, then the SAVE key (upper G#), choose a program number with a numbre key (from lowest F to D), and then press ENTER.
here you go.
