Scarlet 2i2 with a AKG Perception 220

Post by RainbowGlasses » Thu Jun 07, 2012 1:40 am

Bit of noob here. I've had the mic for a while and used it with a phantom power source, but the new PC can't hack it soundwise...so I picked up a Scarlet 2i2...

Problem is, I only get one channel when recording with the mic, be it Abelton or something like Audacity. What am I missing here??

That's how it's supposed to work - single audio source, single XLR, single channel

Yeah, that's kind of what I figured out, but I did find that I could just turn the Mono into stereo easily enough with Audacity.

why would you want to make your single vocal track stereo? if you want 2 tracks of the same voice then just duplicate it on another track
