I just bought an Edirol PCR-50 and it seems to be getting confused in Live 4.
When I try to assign something to knob 9, it will overwrite knob 8, however knob 8 will not overwrite knob 9. Not all of my sliders will assign and when I try to assign a button to the record button inside of Live it doesn't work...
Is this just from lack of support for Edirol controllers?
Oh, and the little green light does flash showing that Live is receiving MIDI data for the sliders and buttons... drivers are current...
Help? Thanks...
Edirol PCR-50 Confusion
hey, you have 9 knobs on your PCR 50?
i thought there was only 8.
when you enter midi learn mode in live (Ctrl-M), and map a knob to a parameter, Live will display the knob's settings (midi channel/CC# or note).
first thing is you have to make sure all your knobs and sliders have different settings.

there's no point in having knobs with identical values.
sliders 3&4 should work. install the PCR editor application (available on www.edirol.com), and check all your knobs/sliders/buttons settings. they should all be different.
