You are looking for desktop. There are two times better machine 'spec' for that budget, and the OS runs better than the others. So, there are no logical reason to get that lunch box unless you have to use OSX to run your server, like that fancy lunch box shape or love that odd 'user experience'. I can't interfere in your own taste though.
