So I've been playing around with the APC and noticed that when I launch a track through it, it doesn't select the clip. Having clips selected allow me to easily delete, then replace when I mess up.
So "select on launch" only applies to mouse operation or am I setting something up wrong? If mouse-only, I'd like to put a feature request in to have select on launch apply to MIDI launch too.
Thanks

Re: select clip on launch via MIDI
I have noticed the same behavior. It is odd that the APC40 doesn't do this by default. I glad someone else has noticed this. When I launch a clip it does not select the clip for clip view, the clip/track button does call up the track correctly. This was a pretty big oversight and I hope it is addressed in a future update here. This would allow the correct clip that is playing to be viewed when the clip/track button is pressed and that track is selected. Maybe I'm missing something here..

Re: select clip on launch via MIDI
i believe this currently only works with manual midi mapping, i also would like this to be the default behavior with apc40 + live 7 and 8. There is a box to uncheck in preferences if you didn't want this behavior.
