I agree, and the workarounds for this are some of the worst.
I'm gonna add the ability to store and recall parameters via program change number, on Live Racks and Instruments is another oversight and runs in tandem with the idea of clip automation in session.
These 2 things would make the performing experience with Live SO FUN, I really dont care about any other requests.

While there's nothing OMG I MUST HAVE IT in that video that would make me switch or something, I do like the tabs across the top of the browser and the view that was just mixing with huge meters.

we've got two companies worth of people writing identical software. this round Bitwig is copying Live, Live 10 or 9.5 will copy unique Bitwig features. seems like a great way to waste your life away. put your penises down guys and do what's best for customers.

look at Mcdo and BurgerKing...no one quitting anytime soon
competition in this case is good imo, the one-upmanship may spur innovation

Ya I dunno. I think the competition in this case will be good. I'm not one of those saying that Ableton has been sitting around doing nothing or anything but I think they haven't really been challenged by anyone. So I think this competition will be good for the consumers of scene based performance DAWs.
